For the love of god…

For the love of god, people – think of the cones. I was once one of those people. You know the ones that could look at a traffic cone and not think twice about stopping to help? Well, no more, my friends.

It was a sad day for me, the day that I left work and saw, much to my horror, a poor traffic cone – a traffic cone that had been in that parking lot for the past three years, yet a traffic cone I had too long ignored – this cone was wedged, in a painful, contorted way into the wheel well of a delivery truck! Oh the humanity! It was then that I knew I had to do something. Standing passively by was no longer an option.

So as of today, I am starting a fund. This fund will see to the eventual retirement of the traffic cone in the parking lot of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Parker building) and it’s replacement with a young, virile cone purchased anew from Home Depot. If you can possibly see in your heart the kindness to help out, click on the donation button below. I estimate that approximately US$3.00 will be required for this task. Won’t you please help? You can easily make a cash or credit card donation right here:

I know that I’m asking a lot here – but every little bit helps. If you haven’t been moved by the story of this cone, please look at the photographic evidence:

The Cone.

Please, donate today and I will submit to you photographs of the new cone, installed in it’s position as Traffic Cone of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Parker Building parking lot. I will also show you the joy you have created for the retired cone as it makes its way to fabulous destinations of relaxation.
